LENS COATING

A finish coating can can be added to enhance not only the look of the lenses, but the performance too.

Anti-Reflective

Eliminates reflections and glare. AR improves the lens for night driving and helps photochromic lenses reduce glare in bright sunlight.

Photochromic

Lenses darken automatically in response to sunlight and return to clear (or nearly clear) when indoors. An easy option for those that want a two in one combination.

Scratch-Resistant

A scratch-resistant hard coating strengthens the lenses against scratches. Kids’ glasses benefits the most from having a SRC (scratch resistant coating).

UV Protection

Lenses that block 100% of both UVA and UVB help to ward off the damaging effects of UV radiation. However, it is recommended to use sunglasses when out in the sun.

Blue Light Blocker

Blue light glasses are glasses that are specifically made to block or filter out blue light. This coating can help reduce eyestrain, eye damage, and affected sleep.

Mirror / Tinted

Mirror coatings come in a variety of colors such as silver, gold, and blue. Lens tinting can aid vision or add some cosmetic style to your glasses. E.g. A yellow tint increases contrast.
